About the instructor…
Julie started Yoga For You with the intention of teaching yoga in an individualistic way, which is how yoga traditionally was carried forth over the centuries. Her guidance creates an at-home sanctuary, in which each client can relax and expand their physical and mental capabilities.

Her in-depth knowledge and understanding of the traditions of yoga are reflected in her gentle yet challenging approach to teaching. “My goal for each client is to impart a sense of understanding, enthusiasm, patience, and acceptance towards their practice.” Julie has trained with many legendary and amazing yoga instructors in various schools of yoga including Vinyasa, Power, Astanga, Iyengar, Viniyoga, and Juvamukti yoga, and incorporates all into her instruction style.
She is always seeking out ways to continue her yoga education - self-study, classes, workshops, and conferences. She has studied in California, Hawaii, Germany and Seattle and is currently attending the Ayurveda Academy to obtain a Masters Degree in Ayurveda. Julie is also currently working to obtain the Yoga Alliance accreditation. Yoga For You was created for people who realize they need time in their life for space and self care. Julie’s passion is to help people find balance and happiness in their busy working lives, and is dedicated to helping people find peace.
When she is not yogaing, Julie spends time with her husband Joe, 8-year old son Dominic, and their 4-legged family member, Gabi, a Border/Lab mix girlie-girl, out hiking, swimming, and generally playing.
